RATES

STUDIO RENTAL RATES

Hourly: $150 per hour

Half-Day: $750 - 6 hours

Full Day: $1,500 - 12 hours

• Minimum booking of 2 hours

• All times include load-in and load-out

• Includes complimentary use of basic production equipment

SOCIAL GATHERINGS, KITCHEN R&D, WORKSHOPS, ETC.

• Minimum booking of 3 hours

• Does not include use of basic production equipment

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

• Use of our Props: $100/day

• Use of Lights: $25 - $100/day

PAYMENT

50% deposit is required upon booking along with a $300 security deposit (refundable upon good care of space) to secure the date.

• All payment is to be made within 7 days of date of invoice.

CLEANING FEE & SECURITY DEPOSIT

$100 cleaning fee applies for all bookings.

The security deposit will be refunded upon good care of space after the event.

In case of a no-show, the security deposit and cleaning fee will be refunded. The cost of rental will not be refunded.

POSTPONEMENT

If postponed from anytime till 7 days before event date - No charge

No postponement allowed with less than 3 days to the event.

CANCELLATION

If cancelled within 24 hours of booking - Full refund

If cancelled from anytime till 14 days before event date:

• 50% of the rental cost will be refunded

• Refund of security deposit and $150 cleaning fee

If cancelled with less than 14 days to the event - No refund

REFUNDS

Refunds will be processed within 14 days from the date of refund claim.

A full refund of the security deposit will only be provided if the studio is returned in its original condition.

Any damages, missing items, and breaching of terms and conditions will forfeit the full security deposit.

Any damages that require repair & maintenance services will be chargeable at cost price, subject to Kasama Space’s discretion on top of the security deposit.

Terms & Conditions

BY BOOKING OUR STUDIO, YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH kasama space’s terms and conditions.

BOOKING

The allocated booking time includes load-in, set-up, test shoot, makeup and post-shoot, clean up etc. Please make sure to replace all furniture and equipment to its original place at the start of your rental. We really believe in the saying, "leave it better than you found it.”

• Once the booking is confirmed, extension and/or postponement of your booking is subject to availability.

• Full payment applies even if your session ends earlier than the allocated booking slot.

• Bookings are made on a first come, first serve basis.

• A cleaning charge of $150 applies to all bookings.

• A security deposit of 50% of the rental rate applies is required to confirm your booking in our calendar.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the case of a no-show, the entire rental cost will be refunded.

• If the booking is shortened and notice is given within 48 hours of confirmation, a refund of the extra hours will be provided.

• An admin fee of $50 will be charged should there be any postponement of the date of booking after confirmation.

• Postponement of the date and time of the booking depends on the availability of the studio.

• A full refund will be provided if we are given 21 days notice should there be a cancellation of the booking. As much notice as possible is preferred.

• A refund of 50% will be provided if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the booking date.

• No refund will be provided if notice of cancellation is given within 7 days of the booking date.

USE OF STUDIO EQUIPMENT

You acknowledge receiving the studio / equipment from us in a good, clean and perfectly working condition unless specified. We will not guarantee, assume responsibility or make any claims of the performance of the equipment once it is passed on to you.

• The studio/equipment should be used with care and respect. Please do not in any way repair or materially alter the physical makeup of the equipment/ studio.

• At the end of your booking, the studio/equipment should be returned to us in the same condition you received it. All garbage disposed and all equipment returned to their respective areas of the studio. Should there be damages or additional clean-up involved for the equipment/studio, the corresponding maintenance fees will be added to your bill.

• Kasama Space is not liable for any loss, damage of personal belongings or any personal injuries of the hirer or their guests during the use of the studio/equipment.

NON-COMPLIANCE CHARGES

• Triggering of the fire alarm without a valid reason ( $300 )

• Police activated ( $300 )

DO’s and dont’s

• No pets allowed in the studio.

• No smoking allowed in the studio.

• No moving of our plants outside of the studio.

• No removing of our fixtures such as curtains, cupboards, shelving etc.

• You are allowed to move the furniture out of the studio should you require more space, however, all furniture must be returned back to its original position upon handover of the studio to us.

• Furniture must not remain outside along the corridor overnight.

• The rooftop is restricted access only. Do not enter.

• Please do not consume any food or beverage belonging to Kasama Space found in the fridge, cupboards or kitchen (unless stated otherwise).

• Please restore our studio to its original condition when your booking ends.
